Saqib Abbas selected for the Youth Exchange Study Programme

We are proud to announce that Saqib Abbas, student of the O Level Campus, Happy Home School has been selected for the Youth Exchange Study Programme sponsored by the United States Department of Education and Bureau of Cultural Affairs. As the recipient of the YES scholarship the student will get an opportunity to participate in a full one year High School studies in a US school and live with an American host family. The YES programme is fully sponsored and the scholarship covers traveling to and from the U.S.A, cost of studies and living with a host family and a $125 a month pocket money!

Saqib is one of the 40 students selected from all over Pakistan after a rigorous process. First his name was short listed for the Secondary Level Language Proficiency Test. In September he took the test, and then there were a series of interviews and most importantly writing a number of essays.
